1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Wanderlustpineglade website and booking accommodations or services through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Reservation and Booking
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to make a reservation through our website. All reservations must include accurate and complete information about the primary guest and any additional occupants.
Confirmation: A reservation becomes binding only upon our written confirmation by email. Payment of the deposit does not constitute confirmation of your booking. We reserve the right to reject any reservation at our discretion, particularly if we have reason to believe the reservation violates these Terms or is made for improper purposes.
Pricing and Payment: All prices are quoted in Japanese Yen and include the stated accommodation charges. Prices are subject to change without notice for dates beyond 60 days from the reservation date. Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as displayed on our website.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation Periods: Cancellations made more than 90 days before the arrival date are refundable in full, minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations made 60–90 days before arrival are refundable in full minus 30% of the booking value. Cancellations made 30–60 days before arrival are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival are non-refundable, and payment remains due in full.
Special Circumstances: No refunds or changes are permitted for no-shows or abbreviated stays. In the event of a natural disaster, pandemic, or government-issued travel restrictions, we will offer a full credit toward a future stay of equal value, valid for 12 months from the original arrival date.
4. Guest Responsibilities and Conduct
Guests agree to use the accommodations and facilities in a responsible manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for any damage caused to the property or facilities during your stay beyond normal wear and tear. Smoking is prohibited in all accommodations; violation incurs a cleaning charge of ¥50,000. Guests must not disturb other guests, and excessive noise after 10:00 PM is prohibited. All pets require prior written approval and are subject to a non-refundable ¥15,000 fee plus applicable cleaning charges.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wanderlustpineglade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including any claims related to booking errors, service interruptions, or failure of third-party vendors. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for your stay. Some jurisdictions do not permit the limitation of certain liabilities, so these limitations may not apply to you.
6. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that outdoor activities, forest access, and stays in our accommodations involve inherent risks, including but not limited to natural hazards, insect exposure, and unpredictable weather. You assume all risks associated with your stay and activities on the property. Wanderlustpineglade is not responsible for any personal injury, illness, or property damage arising from such risks, except where caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and videos, is the exclusive property of Wanderlustpineglade or its content providers and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, or adapt any content without prior written permission from Wanderlustpineglade. Limited personal, non-commercial use is permitted, provided all copyright notices are retained.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of linked websites. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not endorse any third-party services linked from our site, and we shall not be liable for any damages resulting from your use of such services.
9. Health and Safety
Guests with serious medical conditions, mobility issues, or allergies must notify us prior to booking. We reserve the right to refuse a reservation if we reasonably believe the accommodation is unsuitable for a guest's needs. Guests are responsible for carrying necessary medications and medical devices. In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact local emergency services and act in good faith to assist, but we are not responsible for medical care or outcomes.
10. Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms must be brought exclusively in the courts located in Tokyo, Japan, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation and, if necessary, mediation.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed. All other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
